Everything you need to know about NomadEA

Getting Started

NomadEA is a comprehensive platform for Canadian Energy Advisors to streamline the energy evaluation process. The app consists of two main workflows:

  • NomadOG - Original tools for detailed data collection (Sketch-IT, WCS, Mechanical, Name-IT)
  • HOT2000 Generator (NOW) - Quick HOT2000 file generation from existing H2K files or DCF data
NomadOG: Sketch-IT

Purpose: Create accurate digital floor plans and calculate room volumes for energy evaluations.

How to use:

  1. Create a new project or select an existing one
  2. Add rooms and specify ceiling type (flat or sloped)
  3. For flat ceilings: enter perimeter, area, and height
  4. For sloped ceilings: enter corner heights (A, B, C, D)
  5. Use the sketch canvas to draw walls and add dimensions
  6. Upload room photos if needed
  7. Export to MeasureSketch format when complete
NomadOG: WCS (Windows & Doors)

Purpose: Document all windows and doors with their specifications.

How to use:

  1. Select your project
  2. Add windows with dimensions, glazing type, coating, and frame details
  3. Add doors with dimensions and type specifications
  4. Specify orientation, location, and quantity for each
  5. Export to WCS format for HOT2000 import
NomadOG: Mechanical Systems

Purpose: Document heating, cooling, ventilation, and hot water systems.

How to use:

  1. Select your project
  2. Upload photos of equipment (overall + label photos)
  3. Add details for: Furnace, Hot Water Tank, HRV, Air Conditioner
  4. Specify range fan and bathroom ventilation details
  5. Export mechanical system documentation
NomadOG: Name-IT

Purpose: Organize and categorize project photos efficiently.

How to use:

  1. Select your project
  2. Upload multiple photos at once
  3. Drag and drop photos into categories (Exterior, Attic, Basement, etc.)
  4. Photos are auto-saved as you organize them
  5. Export organized photo documentation
HOT2000 Generator (NOW)

Purpose: Quickly generate HOT2000 files from existing data or templates.

Three ways to generate:

  1. Upload Existing H2K: Upload a completed H2K file, upload the generated draft, and compare differences
  2. Use DCF Data: Select a project with DCF data and generate directly
  3. Use Template: Start from a pre-configured template

The AI will process your input and generate a complete HOT2000 file ready for modeling.

DCF Generation

Purpose: Create professional Data Collection Forms automatically.

How to use:

  1. Navigate to DCF Generator from your project
  2. Fill in all required sections (General Info, Building Shape, Components, etc.)
  3. Upload supporting photos and documents
  4. Generate your professional DCF report
  5. Export for client delivery or records
Pricing & Usage Limits

Plans:

  • Free Trial (7 days): Unlimited access to all features
  • Single Use ($20 CAD): One export each for Sketch, WCS, Mechanical, and NOW
  • Monthly Subscription ($100 CAD/month): Unlimited exports of everything

All prices are in Canadian dollars plus applicable taxes. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime.
